Makes My Blood Dance (MMBD) is a high-energy, Brooklyn-based “disco metal” band known for blending metal’s power with danceable synth-pop, electro-goth, and cabaret influences, led by charismatic frontman EV0 (Evan Russell Saffer) and guitarist Jon Kristian, creating a unique “ballier Panic! at the Disco meets Ghost” vibe with visually striking performances and a focus on joy, recovery, and vibrant, diverse music. Formed around 2017/2018 by EV0 and Jon, the band evolved from a desire for a fresh start, fusing EV0’s pop/musical theatre background with Jon’s technical metal focus, resulting in energetic, theatrical anthems that appeal to diverse audiences
