THE 4411

The 4411 is an Austin Texas based indie folk band comprised of two lifelong best friends Tomas Gerlach (Drummer) and Cogan McBride (Singer). Growing up together lended the two to very naturally start sharing a common passion of music which inevitably turned into writing songs together. The groups first single ‘Moment That You Knew’ released in December 2021. Followed by an era of fresh indie pop, landing their first taste of success with their single, Candy Heart. It landed on Spotify editorial playlist and helped the band reach many new fans and achieve many new goals and opportunities.

Shortly after moving in together while in college the duo wrote and released ‘As You Please’. Since then, Cogan and Tomas met guitarist—Alan Holmquist and bassist—Nick Speer who now write and record with them fully which quickly inspired the rest of their debut EP, ‘We Killed the Sun’, that came out on June 28th 2024 and also sparked the bands first ever tour that ended with their first ever sold out headlining show.

The full four piece band has been on two 4 tours selling out almost half of all 8 shows (Austin, Denver, and Salt Lake City), selling over 1500 tickets combined touring. They also went on a much larger tour in the summer of ‘25 playing in 13 new cities where they sold more than 2500 tickets across 16 shows along with releasing 2 new singles; ‘Honey What Is Your Name’ and ‘Burn Away’.

They concluded their year by playing some of their biggest shows yet, in their home state of Texas on a tour supporting The Oh Hellos. Their last show of the year was a sold out night at Stubbs, a legendary Austin venue that can hold up to 2,500 fans. The band most recently released a new single entitled ‘Her’ which came out in November. This single marks the start of a new wave of music and shows in 2026. As they are set to travel to Florida for the first time to play 4 shows, and return to Austin at to play their first headline since last January as well as already announcing their next single titled ‘Sweet July’ out early January.
